New York Botanical Garden

After breakfast, I explored the Botanical Garden. As expected, the trees and plants are huge and beautiful. Birds, squirrels, and chipmunks everywhere. A dream... BUT the whole time you have the soundscape of New York in your ear. Horns, sirens, engines roaring. Still beautifully maintained and landscaped.

Nach dem Frühstück habe ich den Botanischen Garten erkundet. Die Bäume und Pflanzen sind wie erwartet riesig und schön. Überall Vögel, Eichhörnchen, und Streifenhörnchen. Ein Traum... ABER die ganze Zeit hat man die Soundkulisse von New York im Ohr. Hupen, Sirenen, Motorengeheul. Trotzdem wunderschön gepflegt und angelegt.
