From AC to Philly

I had set an alarm for 6:45 to be on the beach in time for the sunrise over the Atlantic. I barely got out of bed and was late. Walking through the casino was again very depressing. So early already so many people at the machine. Partly in pajamas. Arrived at the beach, the sun was already quite high and the view rather disappointing. So back again and put to bed again for an hour before I headed towards Philly. The ride was similar to yesterday. Always straight ahead. The hotel is very centrally located in Philadelphia and I had New York flashbacks again. One-way streets, rectangles, lots of traffic.

Ich hatte mir für 6:45 Uhr einen Wecker gestellt, um für den Sonnenaufgang über dem Atlantik rechtzeitig am Strand zu sein. Ich kam kaum aus dem Bett und war zu spät. Der Weg durch das Casino war wieder sehr deprimierend. So früh schon so viele Menschen am Automaten. Zum Teil im Schlafanzug. Am Strand angekommen war die Sonne schon recht hoch und die Aussicht eher enttäuschend. Also wieder zurück und nochmal für eine Stunde in Bett gelegt, bevor ich mich Richtung Philly aufgemacht habe. Die Fahrt war ähnlich der von gestern. Immer geradeaus. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Philadelphia und ich hatte wieder New York flashbacks. Einbahnstraßen, Rechtecke, viel Verkehr.もっと詳しく
