Fairy Chimneys

We started our day today with a hike to see some Fairy Chimneys. These unique features see basalt stone on top, with eroding volcanic ash underneath. If you view the pictures, know that the only reason there is a column at all is because the basalt piece is on top and protecting it from the elements.Baca lagi
