After a few miles of Maseta we’re in rolling hills. Very similar to the Santa Barbara back country, but with
alternating planted forests, wheat, and scrub oak stands. A pilgrim run camp station saves the day. The best part was the guitarist.Read more
The World is Out There Sr. Gumersindo Cortes waits patiently in his garage for the passing peregrino. Sella!? You stop for a stamp to you compostela passport. You need two a day. He asks where you are from? Seattle then takes to his postcard collection, right to the one of Mt. Rainier, then to each one from practically every major US city. He then gives you two cookies, pats you on the arm, Buen Camino!, then off to another new friend
