Morning Gordon River cruise on Spirit of the Wild. Visit to Sarah Island with guided tour. 5.30pm for show The Ship That Never Was. Finished day with dinner and drinks at the pub.

Best day of trip so far. Left early and went to Beaconsfield mine. Toured mine then on to Seahorse World and Platypus house and echidnas. Absolutely amazing. Seafood lunch then on to Bateman Bridge.Read more

Breakfast at Salamanca Markets. 2 penguins flew home for the summer this morning. Did the female factory tour near Cascade brewery (Her Story). Then drove to Port Huon and dinner at the only pub.

Last day in the Huon Valley. Went to Tahune Adventure Park. On the way we visited the big tree. Largest tree in Tassie. At the park we did the air walk. More winding roads. Dinner at local pub again.
