Last day in the Huon Valley. Went to Tahune Adventure Park. On the way we visited the big tree. Largest tree in Tassie. At the park we did the air walk. More winding roads. Dinner at local pub again.

Breakfast at Salamanca Markets. 2 penguins flew home for the summer this morning. Did the female factory tour near Cascade brewery (Her Story). Then drove to Port Huon and dinner at the only pub.

Early breakfast and on to Port Arthur. Spent 3 hours there including the island cruise. Next stop was Richmond for a beautiful lunch at Czegs Cafe. Aust oldest bridge then back to Hobart. 1 lap of tassie done. Chinese for dinner.Read more

Breakfast in St Helen before driving to Freycinet. On the way we stopped at a beach lookout, blowhole at Bicheno and Freycinet Marine Farm for more oysters. Girls are not sick of them yet. Overnight at Freycinet Lodge. Got upgraded room. Lucky us. Climbed to lookout over Wineglass Bay. Dinner at the bistro.Read more

This morning drove to Lilydale for breakfast. Stopped on way to look at some waterfalls then on to lavender farm. Unfortunately not in flower. Stopped at Pyengana for some cheese and on to St.Helens. Happy hour at 5pm and dinner at local RSL.Read more

Best day of trip so far. Left early and went to Beaconsfield mine. Toured mine then on to Seahorse World and Platypus house and echidnas. Absolutely amazing. Seafood lunch then on to Bateman Bridge. Grindelward swiss village on the way home. Cheese and wine for dinner.Read more

Left the cold at Cradle Mountain. Drove to Burnie to visit Helleyer's Road distillery. Visited Wynyard for lunch and on to Table Cape to the lookout. Finally on to Stanley. More great accommation at Stanley Village and penguins right out our back door.Read more
