Today was a lovely day full of touring in Lisbon! We all woke up and had a light breakfast before heading to the Rossio train station to meet our lovely tour guide, Ricardo. We took taxis to the church/monastery and decided not to wait in the queue, but move to another line for a bakery. After having Portugal’s iconic mini custard cream pies, we went to the Botanical Gardens and explored for a while. From there, we walked to the coast to see the replica Golden Gate and a memorial statue for the famous Portuguese explorers. After a stop at another famous riverside monument, we took the Metro to the Time Out Market where we all had a late lunch. A few hours later we were back to Rossio Square, taking another train line home. Our evening was quiet and we had some charcuterie for dinner.Leer más
