After getting ready, the three of us ate a great breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We packed, checked out, and hopped in a cab for Blarney all before noon. Once in the town, we started for the castle, bags included. At the top, we all kissed the Blarney stone and then explored the beautiful surrounding property for a while. We eventually exhausted the grounds, so we went into Blarney Woolen Mills to shop and eat. We shipped gifts home and ate another lovely meal before calling a taxi to drive us to the train station in Cork. The train left for Dublin at half 4, giving us a nice view of the setting sun. In the city, we squeezed on the tram to Portobello, then ate dinner nearby. We chilled the rest of the evening and soon headed to bed.Read more
