The three of us were on a U train by 8:15 this morning for the 9 o’clock church service. We saw the Vienna Boys Choir at the Imperial Chapel, and enjoyed the lovely service. Afterwards, we ate lunch in a nearby cafe and walked around the markets. Our afternoon was spent wandering the city, going to festive and historic places. Belvedere Palace was the highlight. We walked the grounds at sunset after exploring two art exhibits, and then had food and drink at the market next to the palace. We walked home in the evening and ended our adventures with more drinks at a market close to home. Now, we’re looking for a version of the Christmas Carol to watch.
