Carvoeiro

Breakfast arrived in a picnic basket and set up on our terrace. It was a spectacular view, sun in the sky and not a breath of wind. Perfect start to our day. We drove to a couple of popular beaches and strolled through the very fresh water of the North Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed lunch and a sangria right down on the beach and watched the tide come in before climbing some very steep stairs back to our car. From there we visited a little fishing village, Ferragudo, then stopped for a quick roam around some shops before heading back to Carvoeiro. We freshened up then walked along the cliff face to a beautiful restaurant tucked away from everything. We got some nice photos of us at sunset in a cave before having a delicious dinner and desert.
