Carvoeiro, Algarve

We left our quaint, unique little house in Monsaraz and headed South towards the Algarve. We drove through lots and lots of vineyards and olive groves on the way, eventually finding a beach I have wanted to see for many years, Praia da Marinha. It didn’t disappoint. The brilliant blue water with limestone cliffs looming up out of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. 😱 We walked along the cliff face for about an hour, taking in the incredible view from every location. We headed to our accommodation in Carvoeiro, a hotel perched high on a cliff top overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean. We are here for a couple of nights.
