Cinque Terre to Florence

We left Cinque Terre this morning and headed for Florence. We got the fast train to Pisa, then a regional train to Florence. Our apartment is central to eateries, markets, the train station etc. and it’s massive. We checked in, met the owner then headed out to explore. I didn’t have much on my list for Florence. It was more of a stop over to break up our trip to Venice. I used Google maps to find some statues, fountains and monuments. We walked a lot. Had a delicious lunch upstairs in the marketplace. It started to rain!! First bit of rain since we left 7 weeks ago. It didn’t last long though, maybe half an hour. Lol We had a bit of a shop around before heading back to get ready for dinner. I originally had dinner reservations but decided to cancel so we could go back to the marketplace for dinner. So much variety.
