Venice

We decided this morning that we were going to go on a Gondola. 90€ for a gondola, not per person thankfully. It started to sprinkle shortly after getting in, but stopped quickly and started to clear up. We chose that area to leave from as we wanted a more intimate ride. The others mainly sail along the Grand Canal. It’s wide, choppy, chaotic and not at all what we were after. We are on ferries every day seeing the same things as you would on a gondola. We loved our ride. After that we just got lost in the narrow alleyways of Venice. Discovered a few impressive monuments, churches, synagogues and some markets along the way. AND some new canals to photograph. 😂😂
We enjoyed our dinner so much last night we went back to the same restaurant and ordered something different. It was or last chance to sit alongside a quiet canal watching the gondolas drift past. Marco, our waiter both nights was a character. He made the night even more enjoyable. Back at our room now, full as googs and looking forward to getting on the Norwegian Pearl tomorrow afternoon.Læs mere
