Greece - Mykonos

The ship sailed into the port, so no tender needed for today. We disembarked at and 1pm and saw there were a heap of free shuttle buses to town. This is really the first island that felt like Greece to us. It had the white buildings climbing the steep hillside, bright coloured windows and doors (usually blue), and lots of brightly coloured Bougainvillea clinging to houses, restaurants and bars. We wandered through the white cobblestones narrow alleyways lined with shops, bars and cafes. We headed back to the ship after a couple of hours. I wanted to go back later by myself so I could wander aimlessly, taking photos and climbing high up the hillside to get a good vantage point. I headed out again at 6pm and did just that. Got back to the ship at 8pm then went to dinner with Peter. Just laying in bed now trying to cull my photos down to just 25. 😂Læs mere
