    The Clava Cairn, Iverness Scotland

    As it often happens, the Clava Cairns was something we were on the fence about doing,but ended up being a highlight of the day.

    The Clava Cairns are ancient burial mounts from 2000 BC. There are 3 of them, and one smaller one. It's amazing that this is just a sight you can walk up to, with no guards or roped off areas. We were about to walk right into the center of these burial mounds and take pictures of these bronze age structures.Read more

    TravelerYes, when they excavated they found human remains in the center.
