Day 7: (Coen River to Weipa Caravan Park)

We stay at Weipa caravan park for one night and we went swimming and played on the playground the whole time.

Day 8: Weipa Caravan Park to Pennefather Beach
We stayed at Pennefather Beach for three nights, and while we were there, we drove Jared’s car, went fishing, saw a turtle laying eggs and made a rope swing.

Day 11: Pennefather Beach to Dulhunty River Crossing
After Pennefather, it was our first day on the old Telegraph track. Our first river crossing was Palm Creek, it was like gunshot, but luckily there was a chicken track. After a little bit more 4X4 we made it to our campsite, and it was on the river, so everyone went for a swim.Read more
