Kassiopi and the north of Corfu

We used Kassiopi as a base to chill and enjoy the north of the island and hired a scooter to get around for a day. I had a trip down memory lane and found the villa and beach where Christopher went in the sea for the first time in his life at the age of 1, and he loved the waves chasing him up the beach.
We found Chris and Andi's favourite beach bar, and they were well remembered. We followed the coast to Paleokastrias with its magnificent cliffs and monastery, up to the highest point of the island, where, as always, there is a monastery and back. The Greek authorities were really hard on monks, but at least they must have been fit. Monasteries and churches are always in inaccessible places here.

We did get some admin done, I had a much needed haircut and Gary destroyed the boat with some maintenance while I disappeared for an hour taking photos!Read more
