Seattle - Day 2

Today we made the most of Seattle’s Pacific Northwest landscape by riding e-bikes up to Ballard then headed over to the hip Fremont for lunch and to check out the Fremont Troll (one of its many street works). We then went on an underground tour beneath Pioneer Square (the US’s first historic district). After the great Seattle Fire of 1889 they rebuilt the city above street level creating an underground of about 30 blocks that became the largest illegal trade (eg moonshine and red light etc) in the states.
