    Miami Downtown and Little Havana

Miami has a very large Cuban population starting from the 1950s. The Cuban presence is everywhere - in the food, the music, the language and the people so we decided to check out Little Havana for lunch. Little Havana is full of character (including Roosters in the street - real and statues) and we really enjoyed the traditional Cuban Fritas (burgers) at El Ray De Las Fritas. Not chicken lol. We then checked out the trendy Brickell including its shopping centre that is partially open air then crossed the bridge to Downtown Miami. We were able to get some great shots of the city and of Biscayne Bay, which we will be sailing on tomorrow.Read more
