Salt Lake City, Great Lake and Plains

To complete our trip in Salt Lake City we visited the great Salt Lake and Plains. Did you know that it is the saltiest body of water in the world second only to the Dead Sea. The saltiest part is 25% which is super salty compared to the Ocean at only around 3.5%. Over the last 10,000 years, more than 4 billion tons of salt has been extracted from this lake. Fascinating!
