Siena - Day 1

Today we arrived in the beautiful, mediaeval town of Siena, located in Tuscany. It is an exceptionally beautiful town full of romantic, picturesque lanes and stunning churches and architecture. The Siena Cathedral (pictured) is quite distinctive with black-and-white colouring, symbolic of the black and white horses of the cities founders Senius and Aschius.
