Today we continued on from Syracuse to Taormina. Taormina is a stunning hilltop town overlooking the Mediterranean and Ionian seas. The town has been a popular holiday destination for millennia and is famous for its ancient Greco-­Roman ruins and proximity to Mount Etna.
