Kaikoura

Drove through from Christchurch to the clubs park at Kaikoura this morning. I don't know what it is but everytime it's my turn to drive out come the stop/go guys and the traffic lights! The drive is interesting - lots of changes since the earthquake. You can see where the land has been lifted up by the colour of the exposed rock.We got the bikes off this afternoon and after I'd changed the rear tube on Karins bike we went out exploring Kaikoura along their cycleway. Great thing to do - we've seen a pod of maybe 50 dolphins leaping about just offshore and several seals sunning themselves on the rocks.
Next time we come this way it will be to stay for a few days. Beautiful NZMCA Park too.Meer informatie
