Kurow to Oamaru

Did the last two stages today. Started in brilliant sunshine and rode the last 30km in a headwind and freezing rain. Pam and Dave met us for an early lunch at the pub in Duntroon before we started the last 55km. Finished the day with a hot spa and Pam cooked dinner as she has done for the whole trip (as well as run shuttle!) Tomorrow brings a sleep in followed by a cooked breakfast, a wander around Oamaru and then off to Warrington to see Dunedin.
What amazes me is how we've been able to get back on the bikes after what are long rides day after day and within a km or two you're fresh and ready to go.Читать далее
