Part of the town was flooded to make Lake Dunstan when the Clyde Dam was opened. Lots of locals were moved and the town centre was demolished to prevent debris going into the turbines. Before this allEn savoir plus

Lunch cruise on the Earnslaw. We nursed Clive Barrett - he was once skipper of this ship. The weather came out beautiful just as we set sail.

Drove from Queenstown after our Earnslaw trip and a look around town. Arrived about 7pm but didn't feel like dinner after our lunch. Nice NZMCA Park but very full - we were lucky to get a spot.
