On the way back to Joyvela we tackled the center of the Island with Teide, a 3500m high volcano. We drove up long winding, narrow roads. Through burned woods from wildfires of the last years. The landscape on the plateau is so surreal and harsh, like a Mars surface. But so beautiful and special.

Boat polish and los Christianos

Marc, John and I did the polish port side and the parts of the deck to get Joyvela look new and shiny. That took us most of the day. Thomas went through his provisions to have an overview of what is on board.

We are waiting for the spare parts of the holding for the Selden mast. No reply. Very unprofessional.

In the evening we decided to get out of the marina to los cristianos for drinks and a steak house. 🍻

The spare parts for the mast should finally arrive on Tenerife today🤞 and get installed immediately.

Will leave towards Cabo Verde ⛵🌊after the Rigger finishes his work.

A little bird was taking a break on Joyvela. He got immediately accommodated by our chef with water an bread crumbs. He left us after a few ours of entertainment.
