    Back of Bourke

    Left Lightning Ridge and headed for Bourke. Checked in to a cute caravan park (Mitchell Caravan Park) and headed off to the ℹ️ for a check on things to do. Had a drive around the Maritime Trail where you read about Bourke’s maritime history. Had a look at the North Bourke Bridge - the oldest movable span bridge in NSW which served for 114 years before being replaced in 1997.

    It’s official I can now say I have been beyond the black stump and now the back of Bourke.    Read more
