Not much to see on this leg, more open plains, some bushes and red dirt.
We crossed into the Northern Territory today and free camped approx 180 km south of Alice Springs.

We drove into Qld and into Mount Isa. Definitely a mining town that has the feel of Kalgoorlie.
Thought we would commune with nature today so we took a drive out to Lake Moondarra a lovely spot with walks, big lake, dam, water ski area etc.
