Norway:Geiranger

Geirangerfjord is approximately 15 km long and can be as deep as 260 metres. It is Unesco heritage listed as well and is a major port for big cruise ships.
We started the day with a hike up to a cafe on a farm (Vesteras) and moved from there to a lookout: Vesterasfjellet and then further up to Lostas. We came down via the main road which was a little nerve wracking given you had to share it with the motor homes/cars/tour buses. Still, we made it in one piece and had the rest of the afternoon off. Even though the temp was about 10 degrees it was a long and arduous hike upwards.Lue lisää
