Norway: Alesund

For our full day in Alesund, we took an excursion to Valderoya island which was a short drive outside of the main city. We were intending on attempting a short hike up to a lookout. Google unfortunately took us to a different walk instead which we thankfully realised before we had become too committed. We were still able to see an old prehistoric cave and a view of the islands through some wildflowers. Safely back on track (after I figured out the right place to be), we made the climb upwards to some stunning views over Alesund and it's surrounding islands. After our hike, we retired to our lovely accomodation where Kirk soaked up some last afternoon sun on the deck.Les mer
