Our 123 day adventure with 121 days on the Viking Neptune has drawn to a close.
We were up very early and left the ship for the last time at 3:45 am. It was an hour bus ride to Heathrow Airport. Checked in, through security and went to the Lounge to await out boarding time of 8:30 am. Business class allows us lounge access which is vey nice. We settled in to 2 comfy loungers to spend our next two hours until boarding commences.
Our flight to Minneapolis was uneventful. We arrived on time. We cleared customs (thank you Global Entry) in two minutes, claimed and re-checked luggage, back through security. And began our three hour wait in the Delta lounge.
Our flight to Sioux Falls departed on time. Steve Gunderson picked us up and we are now home.
