We took a tour of the Honey Island Swamp. The water was very high from record floods, so not a lot of wildlife, but we were well educated about the Louisiana swamps and bayous by our tour guide, John.
We dined at Keith's Seafood and had some delicious gumbo, a shrimp/oyster po-boy, chicken wings, fried rice and freshly boiled crayfish... our best Cajun meal so far. We bought some Louisiana strawberries at Camellia Produce then took Hwy 90 back to the city. A beautiful drive through the bayous. Czytaj więcej
