The Ozigo tree is known as "The Elephant Pub" because elephants become drunk from eating it's bark. Smoking it's leaves produces the same effect as ganja (MJ).

This thousand plus year old tree has many using including producing sap that can be used and burned as a lantern.

Newly Discovered

This plant is endemic to Gabon. So recently discovered it has not yet been given a scientific name. There is a lot of hope that it will someday produce a cure for one of our many diseases.

Use to treat malaria by using bark to produce a beverage that is drunk 2-3 times a day.
Azobe Tree

Also known as "Red Ironwood" it produces a strong timber that can be used for heavy construction projects. It's bark can be used as a headache remedy.
