Starting Mileage Minus 4.7

This is my technically my first stop 4.7 miles from my starting location. At my favorite local Chevron, I fill up my 2003 Accord which has over 177k miles and it's time to become "Willie", again.

So much repair damage to be made that many roads have restricted access or are closed

Not talked about or recognized as much as it's counterpart in the west but just as cool all the same
Blue Ridge Parkway

Fortunately, I stopped at The Visitor Center where I discovered part of the Parkway northbound is closed. A detour has me back on I-40E.
