Cusco

We arrive in Cusco early in the morning and Mark and I have pre booked our hostel this time. When we arrive they tell us our room is ready, im so relieved as i could easily sleep for a couple of hours now, but as we take our bags into the room they then tell us that thats not our room and they have made a mistake. We are all starving so go out for breakfast while the room is getting sorted. The shot walk takes us to the first plaza which is really pretty and already i am in love with this place. We go to a restaurant and order hot chocolate which comes in the biggest glass, all thats missing is the marsh mallows and cream. We go back to the hostel an lounge about for the rest of the morning. I am in no rush here as me and Mark have 2 weeks to explore the city, and once again become acclimatized to the high altitude. Mark literlly doesnt move all day and me and Olivia go to the suprmarket to buy the ingredients for tonights curry. Josh who we met in Arrial de Cabo is coming over tonight, and hopefully he wont lead Mark astray too much as he is doing a trek in the morning and has to be up at seven. later in the afternoon i suggest Mark and I have a little walk out , but he is having none of it and i go off on my own in a huff. I have suggested buying a few candles as we had seen some in the street when we had gone for breakfast. I guess if a woman wants something she has to do it herself so i come back armed with my purchase. i go up to the room an a short while later Mark comes up and says he has to go to hospital. This is totally out of the blue. ( PLEASE DON'T PANIC TODAY IS THE 26TH OF APRIL) He has twisted his privates and is in agony but hasnt said anything all day just suffered in silence. He wants to go to the hospital on his own, so I agree to stay behind thinking he will come back in a few hours with pain killers, but 3 hours later and he is still not back and I am beginning to get worried. I spend the next hour calling all the hospitals in the area until eventually we find him a nd he is being kept in. I offer to go up but it's quite late by now and we agree for me to go first thing in the morning. Josh leaves around 12 and it's been a good night with good company but not having Mark here I realise how much I've missed him. I get into bed and light my candles and really can't sleep it's 2am and it's bloody freezing. I decide to get out of bed and put some socks on as well as another jumper and soon fall off to sleep.もっと詳しく
