Castelnaud

Today we climbed another big hill to visit Castelnaud, which also houses a medieval war museum. Castelnaud was built around the 12th century and was won and lost many times during the 100 year war. The castle was abandoned in the 1800s and fell into disrepair, but was purchased by a French family in 1965 who completed an extensive restoration. Good job people.Leggi altro
