Our Japanese Ryokan - Yamazakiya

We were picked up from the train station by the 81 year old owner of our ryokan who told us she lives this lifestyle and will continue to offer tourists this experience for as long as she can. A ryokan is a traditional Japanese Inn offering a unique cultural experience with a tatami room, futon beds, communal bath and an onsen ( hot spring bath ) and traditional cuisine.
