A Swim at the Natural Pools of Biscoitos

The Natural Pools of Boscoitos are a set of geological formations created by lava flows that, upon coming into contact with seawater, formed depressions and rocky formations that have gradually intensified over time to create a bathing area. The water was about 22 degrees so quite comfortable for mid October swimming. I could have stayed here all day but there were several more stops before we reached our hotel.
