Enjoyed a good night's sleep!

After picking up our clothing from the drying racks (where they never dry here from so much humidity), and pulling our muddy shoes from the shelf, I set off early morning with a small troop of pilgrims to head for Gernika-Lumo from Markina-Xemein. We all end up seppperating, following our own rhythm and focus as we challenge hiking the terrain. The challenge this day was mucking and sliding through mud, for it rained on us for the good part of the morning.
Another 10 hour day of walking, and tonight I choose to enjoy a hot shower, a full plate of pinchos with wine, and a bed with a set of sheets in a hotel room of my own. 💖heavenly!Baca selengkapnya
