The walk-up to Heceta Light House is an easy walk that takes you through a lush green wooded trail. There would be gorgeous views, I'm sure, if it wasn't such a grey rainy day. But even this day was perfectly beautiful!もっと詳しく
旅行者I’ve been there six times, since it was so close to Eugene. The first real painting I bought 30 years ago was a large watercolor of one of those Sitka spruce trees, and I had never seen one in person until I saw them at Heceda—like meeting an old friend. The branching pattern is very particular—they seem to radiate the life force—and they just grow in the coastal fog zone, all the way up Canada to Alaska.
