On the road… The N. Cascade Highway!

Enjoy the shade and lunch in Twisp, though the Saturday market didn’t give us many options…. (although Harry said it was the best hamburger he’s ever eaten in his life!) and that was just the beginning of our mostly spontaneous undertaking to get back to Seattle via the North Cascades Highway. Half of the year, it is closed due to snow.

And from the elevation climb in the steep cliffs and roaring waterfalls, when can imagine how much snow comes down here during the winter.

Our weather turned a bit nasty, but it was a beautiful trip through new spaces.Baca lagi
