ПутешественникThe towing course was really good, learned a lot of pearls of wisdom that saved us a lot of trial and error. Rebecca was doing great things towing and parking the van at the course but she hasn't been game to do it on the open road as yet.

Had lunch and a walk along the beach at Huskisson. Bosley is surprising keen to explore, we can't keep up with him!

He would have been let off lead if they hadn’t been rat bags and escaped earlier in the day leaving us chasing around the camp site like a couple of mad idiots!

Dalgety and the Snowy region

We stayed at the only original town left on the Snowy River (Dalgety) and explored the whole region. We real liked the old town and it was a great base to explore the rest of the region.

Stayed close to Rockhampton. Our last big town before heading “outback”. Spent many hours stocking up on supplies and preparing the car and van.

On our way to Birdsville - we parked overnight out the back of the local pub.
We had a great meal there (parmis all round) and got an early dawn start on the mornings.
