Atlantic City

After staying at cheap inns we were very excited about going to a nice hotel at the shore, with a pool and a casino. Our room was upgraded, we were on the 27th level, but we looked quite ridiculous with our backpacks and plastic bags. The first thing in our fancy hotel room was to eat the cold rice we had cooked the day before with plastic cutlery out of the glass. Then we walked on the Boardwalk and went to the Hard Rock Casino. Hundreds of slot machines, blackjack tables everywhere, a lot of people sitting in front of the screens like zombies. Though after two rounds of roulette and blackjack we lost the money we were ready to lose, we had a lot of fun. Before leaving, we also had a swim in the ocean, which was quite cold, but we were all awake then, and had breakfast at the beach.Leggi altro
