    After taking a shower for two dollars at a gas station (both of us in the women's restroom, behind a curtain) we drove to the warmest place on earth. We went to the salt flats, Badwater, which is the lowest point of America, 85 meters below sea level. We drove to the Artists Palette, where we drove on a beautiful road surrounded by rocks and mountains in several different colours. Then we hiked through the Golden Canyon, passing by the Red Cathedral in a landscape similar to Badlands national park. Everything dry, no sign of life anywhere, very impressive views everywhere you look. At the end we went to the thermometer to make the compulsory picture with it (it was already 4 and there were some clouds, so it was probably hotter during the day).
    On the way out of the park we made a quick stop at an old borax mine and enjoyed the sunset.
