Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness

Day 1 of Scotland Tour

Went for a sunrise walk of Edinburgh before getting on my bus for the first day of my Scottish tour. Visited the Highlands Folk Museum (with examples of the buildings the people of the Highlands lived in through the centuries), the battleground of Culloden Moor, and the Cairns ancient burial sites. Finished the day at Loch Ness, where we are staying right on the shores

Fun fact of the day: Loch Ness has enough volume that if you had a time machine and took every person that ever lived, you would have enough room in Loch Ness to store them all.Read more
