Knossos to Chania

From Knossos, we headed to Chania, and our hotel at Platanias. The hotel was a big resort on the beach, and we had a lovely huge room, with a big sun drenched patio. Wonderful! The following day we jumped in the car and drove to Balos Beach. Amazing! The last 7 km was dirt road, and we learned that Europeans have no idea how to drive them refusing 9 go faster than 5km/hr! And they were mostly rentals!!!

At the end, there was a 2km walk, but omg, was it worth it! A stunning beach and amazing views. Lots of local wildlife in the form of belled long-haired goats and donkeys.Les mer
