Atrani day 1/2/3

Today being the third day in Atrani, the other days were mostly swimming, and relaxing. The third day I went to Pompeii!!😰😲😵🙀 I thought that it would have been more black, but everything was mostly white. Mount Vesuvius, the mountain that smothered Pompeii in ash was in fact about 8 kilometres away, and it wasn't lava that killed people, it was the heat, toxic fumes, and ash cloud that killed people.🌋 The volcano, first erupted in 79 AD, after about 2 days of earthquakes. All the people thought that mount Vesuvius (why isn't it called Vo Vesuvius for volcano!) was just a mountain, but was a massive volcano full of lava that could sizzle your eyes out in less than a second! At Mount Vesuvius I saw a green and black lizard that was approximately 15 cm. Now on to Pompeii. It was so much bigger than I expected, and it was about 2 km all around.
