I didn’t realize how much I had aged

…on this trip until someone took this picture of me walking up the steep hill to the monastery under the heat of the sun. 😎This monastery was closed during Soviet rule until that ended in the 1990s. Not sure what this monk did during those 40 years. When I was in Bulgaria in the 1980s there were some monks allowed to stay in their monasteries as museum pieces.
