5 hour train ride from London Paddington to St Erth I am one sleep deprived puppy after my 8 hour overnight flight from RDU and I’m sooooo thrilled to be in UK!! 🇬🇧

I had no idea British seaside towns were so beautiful! The color of the water is breathtaking and the town built into the hillside quite quaint! There are 3 beaches along the peninsula. I ate at Porthgwidden Beach Cafe - freshly caught charred Mackerel and then Red Snapper Nicoise Salad-all locally sourced and Yes! 2 glasses of Rose!Read more

Put my toes in the sand/surf, walked around town, found a really cool cemetery- sun setting - from the Porthmeor Beach and then to my room. I’ve been awake over 20 hours! Good night!! 😁😴

I’ve got a entire day to enjoy St Ives! Breakfast at my hotel with “visitors”- baby gulls, Low low tide, the St Ives Society of Artists and then a delightful tour of the Tate of St Ives - there’s been an inspiring art community here since the turn of the century - many woman artists! I also peeked into many local galleries!Read more
