After breakfast in the charming kitchen I went inside the ancient St Senar’s church and saw the Mermaids chair along with beautiful needlepoint kneelers- such a feeling of community and spiritualityもっと詳しく
Lots of vegetation- path was hard to follow at times - beautiful views and ups and downs! The rocky point is Gunard’s Head and the ruins are from copper mining that has happened in this area sinceもっと詳しく
Phew-whee! Long day - 9.52 miles and 2021 ft elevation gain! I saw a pod of dolphins (sorry- no good pics) free roaming horses, and rock climbers- so glad I had my binoculars! You may have to zoom inもっと詳しく
Last bit was about 2 miles up hill- 1.5 of it along a rode into Pendeen! North Inn is quaint - it was “Curry night” and half the town was here - loud and delicious! I had a half pint ofもっと詳しく

Today was easier hiking overall but hotter- Sun all day up to 68 degrees. I stopped at Ballowall Barrow, ancient burial chamber from 1700BC! I hiked 9.3 miles with 1263 elevation gain and with newもっと詳しく
To Porthcurno today - notes say it’s somewhat easier however it’s quite cloudy and windy! I stopped by a gallery inside the old wheel house then onto Land’s End which was unusually commercial.もっと詳しく
Hiked 7.73 miles today - 1231 Beautiful views again today! It was sunny, in the 60’s and quite breezy but easier going most of the time! We stopped for a break at the Pothgwarra National Coastwatchもっと詳しく
I slept in a bit, had a lovely breakfast of homemade croissants and gooseberry jam then toured the Minack Theatre- Google it! Fascinating outdoor theatre built 1931 by hand into the rocky cliff side.もっと詳しく
