Newgrange Monument

This is the largest (oldest?) stone age monument in Europe. Older than the pyramids at Giza. For $7 they let you actually enter this ancient burial chamber. It was very cool (even if they had cleaned out all the bones).

It is situated in this lovely valley and had a very nice walk from the parking lot to the visitors center.Les mer
